Community Rising Gala

Posted on Get Involved by jess gonzales · October 17, 2018 1:31 PM

Friday December 7th, 6–9 PM
Sheraton Park Hotel
1855 S Harbor Blvd, Anaheim, CA 92802

Acts of joy and celebration are acts of resistance!
The OCCORD Gala is our annual event that brings together friends and allies working to raise up our communities and celebrate those that inspire us to continue build an economy that works for everyone.
Since our founding in 2005, OCCORD's vision has been to bring people together to organize and advocate for dignified jobs and an inclusive democracy and to have residents play an active role in shaping the policies that affect the quality of life in their neighborhoods.
Please join us on December 7th at the Sheraton in Anaheim to celebrate 13 years of organizing, advocacy, and wins.

Keynote Speaker: Gustavo Arellano

Honorees: Coalition of Resort Labor Unions (CRLU),

National Union for Healthcare Workers (NUHW-OC),

Mike & Jeanine Robbins, Mirvette Judeh,

and a Star volunteer of our Citizenship Program.
